About Us

How it Began

BICPA was conceived out of a need to have access to basic accounting data on a large number of small businesses operating in the same industry. This would allow for intelligent reporting and decision making once a clear picture emerges of trends in a specific industry. Such averages give a clear indication of the direction an industry is heading in. The prospect of having such data at your fingertips is what BICPA is all about.

Why BICPA?

Drive your clients towards higher profitability with BICPA. BICPA gives you data you can use to provide valuable advice to your clients.

  • How well do they compare against their industry average?
  • Which expenses are they below average and which ones above average?
  • How well do their revenues compare to other similar businesses?

All these figures give a picture which will help you better advise your clients. Arm yourself with information that will help with tax planning. BICPA gives you all of this.

You can compare how your client compares against industry averages.

Every client that belongs to you will be compared against the industry average which is calculated from data present for all clients in the BICPA database even if they do not belong to you. So you get access to a wide range of data without the hassle of owning the data.

Unlimited Year End Data for Clients

For every client you have, you can enter data for as many years as you wish.

You can back date and provide data for previous years if you wish. There is no limit on the number of years worth of data you want to keep.

Whether you are an accounting firm with 1 staff member or 20, BICPA allows you to create as many user accounts as you wish. Users can be given Admin or Regular roles suited to their tasks. This allows for more efficient and distributed data entry.

Graphical Charts in Reports

The power of visual, colour coded, bar charts along with textual data allows you to evaluate your client's performance at a glance.

Each expense and income category has its own representation in the chart stacked up against the industry average and the industry median. This makes it easy for you to determine where in the spectrum your client falls and advise them accordingly.
